GLUELESS CAP

Our glueless caps feature 13×4 HD lace parting area with closed wefted construction on the back. We have added anti-slip silicone strips inside the cap to the back of the wig, as well as V-wired ear tabs which allows you to mould the sides to the sides of your face so it feels secure and flat without the need for adhesives. They have combs inside (which can be removed if required) at the top of the head, one at the nape and one either sides at the back. As with all our cap types, these come with adjustable removable elastic band for extra security and straps to adjust. This is a great beginner wig. When it comes to styling, you can tie them up still but we do recommend only styling in lower styles like low buns or plait/pony to avoid seeing the weft and material at the back.

LACE FRONT CAP

Our lace front caps feature a 13×4 HD lace parting area with closed wefted construction on the back. They have combs inside (which can be removed if required) at the top of the head, one at the nape and one either sides at the back. As with all our cap types, these come with adjustable removable elastic band for extra security and straps to adjust. These are easy to put on, and work well if you do have some existing hair remaining. When you cut in your ear holes, you may find the sides can flap up so a small amount of adhesives could work to avoid this. When it comes to styling, you can tie them up still but we do recommend only styling in lower styles like low buns or plait/pony to avoid seeing the weft and material at the back.

FULL LACE CAP

Ever dreamed of that up do? Our full lace caps are the best for sleek, high ponytails and unlimited styling options. They feature our HD lace on the whole cap, with a section of added material to the crown for extra strength. They have combs inside (which can be removed if required) at the top of the head, one at the nape and one either sides at the back. As with all our cap types, these come with adjustable removable elastic band for extra security and straps to adjust. We have a larger section of lace at the back/nape of the wig before the straps start – this section is to allow for any adhesives should you want to do an up do and therefore the back will also look super realistic, just like the front (pre-plucked hairlines on the front and the back).

CHOOSE YOUR DENSITY…

When we talk about density, this is the thickness of the hair and how heavy it may feel. This is very much personal preference but we do offer a few different density options at DMUSE. I would recommend choosing density based off the length of the wig (to match the length with the thickness).

150% is our thinnest density available – we would recommend this if you want the hair to feel a little lighter and not too heavy – a perfect summer option.

180% is our medium type of density and is often the most recommended as it is a middle of the road option if you are unsure.

Generally if you like a slightly thicker feel to your hair, we can offer 200% density. This is also great for longer units to give a luxurious feel. We do also offer much thicker densities ranging up to 350%.*

*Density may differ between full lace and lace front+glueless caps. With full lace caps, the hair is tied onto the tiny holes within the lace and therefore there is only so much space for the hair to be tied in. Therefore full lace caps will have a lower amount of hair than lace fronts+glueless. The maximum amount of hair that can physically be tied into a full lace cap is approximately 270g (250% density based off 28″ length). This will be less for shorter densities as the density correlates to the length. With lace front+ glueless caps, we can sew in wefts of hair, therefore we can add a lot more hair to these cap types spanning up to 480g (300% density based off 30″ length). Again, this will be less for shorter densities as the density correlates to the length.

We offer fully customised cap sizes for just an extra £40. In order to create your cap to your exact measurements, we require you to provide your 6 measurements (in inches) using the standard sizing guide.

HAIR TYPES…

VIRGIN HAIR:

As standard, most of our wigs come in 100% virgin human hair. Virgin hair is from multiple hair donors. The hair quality is beautiful but we would advise using nourishing products with the hair to help keep it smooth and prolong the life of your wig. Heat protector is always advised regardless of the hair type but especially with virgin hair to ensure you get the longest life out of your unit.

RAW HAIR:

You can upgrade your hair to 100% raw human hair. Raw hair is hair donated from 1-2 donors and therefore is the best quality hair you can get. Raw hair is a lot more resistant to heat as the hair is unprocessed. Raw hair however is a lot more expensive and therefore as standard we offer virgin hair on most of our units to make it as affordable as possible.

Some colours require you to have raw hair. Colours such as our June, Vanessa and Maria wig all require raw hair to ensure we can achieve fully bleached knots without damaging the hair. We are unable to achieve these colours in virgin hair without this diminishing the quality of these coloured units. You will be advised if raw hair is required to create your desired colour, otherwise, our wigs will come in virgin hair unless you request raw.
