In 45 minutes, you get access to that expertise directly. Clear, confident guidance from someone who can look at your situation, hand you the pieces to try, and tell you exactly what will work for you.

Sessions run at So Pro Studio, Carliol Square, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 6UF. Studio days run twice a month, 9am–5pm. The £50 consultation fee comes straight off the price of your topper or wig when you place an order.Frequently asked questions
An in-person consultation is not essential, but we highly recommend one if you are feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or anxious about purchasing a wig or topper.
Our consultations are designed to give you complete peace of mind. You’ll have the opportunity to see, feel, and try DMUSE hair pieces in person before deciding whether we are the right fit for you.
During your appointment, we’ll guide you through our range of colours, densities, cap sizes and styles, helping you understand which options may suit you best. This hands-on experience can be incredibly valuable if you’ve never worn a hair piece before or if you’re feeling uncertain about where to begin.
For topper clients in particular, an in-person consultation allows us to assess your natural hair colour, density and coverage needs in person. Whilst our online consultation process is extremely thorough, seeing your hair firsthand enables us to achieve the most accurate colour match possible.
We can also discuss our different hairline options, helping you choose the most suitable solution based on your level of hair loss, lifestyle and personal preferences.
Head measuring is also available during your consultation to ensure we recommend the most suitable cap size and fit for you.
Our goal is not to sell you a wig. Our goal is for you to leave feeling informed, confident and empowered to make the right decision for you.
Yes.
We will have a small selection of ready-to-wear wigs available to purchase on the day should you find one that is suitable for you.
We can also finalise and place orders for both our Express Collection wigs (approximately 3 weeks turnaround) and our fully custom wigs during your consultation.
There is absolutely no obligation to purchase. We want every client to leave with a clearer understanding of which hair solution is right for them, whether that means ordering immediately or taking time to consider their options.
For any ready-to-wear wig purchased on the day, an ear-hole cutting service is included should you wish for Dani to complete this for you. Dani will also show you how this is done, allowing you to feel confident making any future adjustments yourself if needed.
Please note that a separate installation appointment would be required for a full wig install.
Your £50 consultation fee is fully redeemable against any wig or topper purchase made with DMUSE.
Your consultation will last approximately 45 minutes.
Dani and our specialist DMUSE colourist will be available throughout your session to advise and guide you. During this time, we will discuss your hair goals, assess your needs and walk you through the options that may be most suitable for you.

Bring as many or as few people as you need. We understand that choosing a wig or topper can feel like a big step, and having support with you can make all the difference.
Whether you’d like a second opinion, emotional support or simply someone to share the experience with, you’re welcome to bring whoever makes you feel most comfortable.
Yes.
We want every client to feel safe, comfortable and confident during their consultation. All consultations take place in a private and confidential environment.
We also have a separate private room within our space should you wish to change wigs in complete privacy or simply take a moment for yourself during your appointment.
The most important thing is simply yourself.
However, if you have them, we recommend bringing photos of hair colours you love or would like to achieve

Every wig purchase includes a DMUSE Care Guide for you to take home, covering everything you need to know about caring for your hair piece.
Dani is also happy to answer any questions during your consultation and provide guidance where possible.
In addition, we will be offering dedicated DMUSE Masterclasses where we can cover wig care, styling, fitting and installation in much greater detail for those who would like additional support.
