CUT YOUR EAR HOLES

Storing your wig
In order to get the longest wear from your wig, we recommend storing your wigs in a silk bag or silk hook hanger. If using a single hook, please ensure to hook from the inside at the crown area. You can sleep in your unit however to avoid tangling and wearing quicker, we recommend to not sleep in your wig. If you do wish to, please use a silk bonnet to protect the hair and lace from rubbing and wearing down.
WASHING YOUR WIG
Depending on how often you wear you wig, depends on how often you wash it. If you wear it every day, it may need a wash every 2-3 weeks. If you intermittently use it, we would recommend washing every 1-2 months. To get the longest life out of your unit, we recommend having more than one if possible so you can mix between them however this is not essential as with the right care, your unit can last up to 2 years, if not longer! Please note, the lace is HD and therefore a thinner type of lace so the hair and lace can deteriorate quicker than other lace types. When washing, do not scrub or handle heavily as this can increase the hair and lace to shed quicker.
A wash routine we recommend is:
1 – Shampoo with a sulfate free shampoo (Kerastase range and Osmo have a great selection for shampoos and conditioners)
2 – Rinse with cool water only (warm water makes the colour wash out more)
3 – Conditioner
4 – Optional but highly recommended for that signature DMUSE shine: If your hair needs a little TLC, please use a deep treatment mask and let the hair sit for 20 minutes (or overnight if it really needs some love)
5 – Rinse again with cool water
6 – Gently towel dry
7 – We recommend letting the hair dry naturally to prevent heat damage and increasing the shedding of the hair
8 – Style!
